Tuition Installment Plan
The Tuition Installment Plan (TIP) allows you to pay for tuition and book expenses over time, rather than in one lump sum.
Tuition
Valencia College’s international student tuition rate is $390.96 per credit hour. That’s about 40% less than a Florida public university’s and just a fraction of the cost of many private schools. Click here for more information on tuition and fees.
Mandatory Insurance
All international students in F-1 or J-1 status are required to purchase the mandatory health insurance policy provided by the college prior to enrollment. This plan is offered through United Healthcare. If you do not want to pay your entire insurance costs at once, costs may be divided into two payments.
Scholarships
Scholarships can help cover college costs and are available through the International Linkage Institute of your country or region.
Books and Supplies
The estimated annual expenses for textbooks and supplies at Valencia is $1,266 per year. You may purchase books and supplies at the Valencia bookstore on any campus, or online. Some textbooks are even available to rent. The bookstore staff can assist you with finding the appropriate books and making special orders.
Living Expenses
This includes housing, transportation, food, clothing, entertainment and miscellaneous expenses.
Please note that, since Valencia does not offer on-campus housing or dorms, this estimate includes costs for off-campus housing in the area. Your costs may be less if you plan to stay with a friend or family member already living in the area.
